Does what it says. Loads fast, good maps that are linked to Google Maps, and lots of information that is well organised. Thanks.

Informative... Educational... BUT not so user-friendly. It would be nice to be able to 1) browse through categories/continents list 2) zoom and browse a world/continent map. 3) take a factoid quiz

This app is amazing!!!!!! Up to date info on every country in the world as well as sections on various water bodies, territories, and land disputes. One of the most interesting and informative apps in the store. And right now its on for a dollar. Dozens of hours of Reading and research for 99 cents!!!!!!!

Surprisingly fun when your bored

Got lots of information, God only knows if its true, but nice App non the less.

None of this information is even official. Very inaccurate, litteracy in the world is not 99% everywhere.

I am not sure why some people are critical of the content (validity, not official, etc.) given that data is provided by the CIA (CIA World Factbook). The providers of this application do not appear to be at fault. They do not edit the content (grammar, spelling). So the critism seems to apply to the CIA analysts who write the country reports. Very convenient applicaiton to have at your fingertips.

Can only search by country, not anything more granular. Not pleased about that at all!

This is a good app, and works as advertised. The only problem I have with the app is that you can not zoom in and out of the maps. It would be wonderful if in future versions they added a world map than you can zoom in and out.

I use it regularly while watching TV. Very useful and updated regularly. A map of the continents would be appreciated though. IPods used with such good applications is what we had been dreaming of for years. Reference material at hand....who could have thought this possible 20 years ago.....

Excellent app! A wealth of interesting info... I cant put it down. Really an indispensable reference for those involved or just interested in geography, military, global political, diplomatic or economic affairs. Great for reference but also for personal interest and curiosity! Recommended.

This app is very informative and contains as much data as you could possibly need about the countries of the world. I believe this app is an absolute must for anyone who has some interest in other parts of the world. Very clever and insightful. Highly recommended!

I was thrilled to read the overviews of the countries and learn their flags. So far, this app has been very useful. I love the section that shows where the country is located, and an overview of the history, geography, politics and general information about the country. Lots of good info in this app and easy to follow. I highly recommend this excellent app!

Holy sh** this app is great. Its super fast and great for exploring both well-known And obscure countries. I love how it is often written in a very understandable way and contains more information than I expected. I definitely recommend getting this app, a must have for any iPod/iPhone and only for (as of now) .99 cents!
